Message from the Superintendent

Dear Parents /Guardians,

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! The first day of school is quickly approaching. We are
looking forward to a great school year filled with positive learning experiences for your
child/children.

Since the summer began we have been planning for the upcoming school year’s initiatives.
Teachers were offered professional development opportunities, new staff was hired, and many
hours of programming and planning were conducted. I hope your summer provided
opportunities for your family to rest, vacation, and prepare for the school year.

In order to be ready for the beginning of the school year, please review your school handbook. It
will tell you what you need to know about your school policies and procedures. You may want to
refer to this throughout the school year.

School will be in session on September 5, 2012. This is a single session day. I am looking
forward to a new year filled with many accomplishments and enjoyment.
